SDG 5 (Gender Equality): Our Female Supervisor Leadership Program and inclusive hiring policies promote gender equality and empower women in leadership roles.

SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation): Investments in Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) technology, wastewater treatment, and efficient water use significantly reduce water consumption and pollution.

SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production): By adopting zero-waste strategies, sustainable raw materials, and circular economy principles, we ensure environmentally responsible production.

LIFE AT INTERSTOFF

Empowering Employees

Interstoff values workplace inclusivity, employing 10,892 workers. Their Female Supervisor Leadership Program has promoted 135 women, aiming for 30% female leadership by 2025. Partnering with CRP, they’ve integrated 377 physically challenged employees into various roles.

Health and Well-Being

Interstoff ensures employee well-being with 24/7 medical centers offering free primary care, mental health support, and subsidized referrals. In 2024, they held 52 free medical camps for 5,500+ employees. Their Hepatitis B program immunized 94% of workers, while prenatal care aids 400+ mothers yearly. A health insurance plan with 15,000 BDT coverage has benefited 9,000 employees.

Since our inception, we have placed profound emphasis on social, environmental, and economic sustainability. Our comprehensive programs focus on people, planet, product, and profit, with a vision of nurturing a safe and sustainable world for future generations.

HELPING THE DIFFERENTLY-ABLED PERSONS TO LIVE A BETTER LIFE

    Training costs are covered to equip them with essential skills.

  • Comprehensive training programs are provided for their success.

  • Ongoing welfare support is offered to aid their development.

APON FAIR- PRICE SHOP

The Fair Price Shop helps low-income IAL workers by offering essentials at factory prices, reducing expenses and protecting them from inflation. Employees can purchase on credit, with payments deducted from their salaries monthly. The system is fully managed in-house.

CHILD CARE

Interstoff supports working parents by providing free Child Care Centers at all its factories. Staffed by trained caregivers, these centers offer a safe environment with learning materials, allowing employees, especially women, to work with peace of mind. This initiative promotes work-life balance, gender equality, and early childhood development.

EDUCATION & YOUTH EMPOWERMENT

Interstoff supports education by funding Chitrakoot High School for 800 underprivileged children, 80% of whom are girls, promoting gender equity. They offer scholarships for employees’ children and run adult literacy programs, helping 150 workers gain essential skills for better opportunities.

GRAMEEN SHIKHA SCHOLARSHIP PARTNERSHIP WITH TESCO

Interstoff, in partnership with Tesco, supports the Grameen Shikha Scholarship Program, funding higher education for workers’ children. This initiative enhances access to quality education, reflecting Interstoff’s commitment to youth empowerment and academic opportunities.

DISASTER RELIEF AND HUMANITARIAN AID

Interstoff provides disaster relief through food, water, and shelter aid. They support 1,500 widowed and divorced women in Pandughar with financial and food assistance. During the 2024 Bangladesh floods, they aided affected communities with emergency supplies, medical aid, and rebuilding efforts. During COVID-19, they ensured employee support with protective gear, food, and salary assistance, reinforcing their commitment to humanitarian aid.

RANA PLAZA SUPPORT SCHEME

Interstoff Group, in collaboration with BASS, is dedicated to supporting 14 children from families affected by the Rana Plaza tragedy. They provide educational and essential assistance up to the graduate level, ensuring these children have the resources they need to build a better future. This initiative reflects their commitment to hope, resilience, and community support, especially for those impacted by one of the industry’s most devastating events.

Blood Donation Camp

Interstoff organized a free blood donation camp at their medical center, where more than 75 individuals voluntarily donated blood last year. This initiative reflects their deep commitment to community welfare, promoting a culture of compassion, solidarity, and lifesaving support for those in need. By facilitating such camps, they contribute to local healthcare systems and encourage employee participation in community
service, enhancing their social impact.

WOMEN LEADERSIP PROGRAM

The Female Supervisor Leadership Program is a four-month training program for female workers in sewing or quality departments at Interstoff. It provides both hard and soft skills training, with a skill development program for helpers. Successful completion leads to promotion as Supervisors, with Interstoff aiming to have 30% of its garment sewing lines led by Female Supervisors by 2025.

At Pandughar Hasina Khanom Foundation, we believe in giving back to the community that has helped us grow. As the CSR initiative of Pandughar, this foundation is our way of making a meaningful impact—nurturing young talent, supporting education, and empowering underprivileged communities.
Through this foundation, over 2,500 underprivileged families receive monthly support, and more than 500 students are provided with free education. Through collective efforts and shared responsibility, we strive to make a lasting difference.
